GirlfriendGPT at a glance: who it suits and who it doesn't

Going by the published data, GirlfriendGPT makes sense for someone who wants a large character catalog (the home page claims "25 000+", the company's own number) with voice, images and video, and who is fine paying in dollars. The strong point is the feature list. The weak point is the lack of clarity: the Elite price is not published, the prices of the other plans come from the service's FAQ and may be out of date, and Pix does not appear anywhere.

If you prefer to pay with Pix, or you need to see prices before creating an account, look at the alternatives further down. It is also a poor fit if you want a native app: there is no official version on the App Store or Google Play, only web and PWA.

Paying for GirlfriendGPT from Brazil: cards, bank and what's missing

Visa, Mastercard and Discover icons appear in the site footer. The checkout shows "Credit Card", "Pay with Credit / Debit Card", "Pay by Bank" and "More Payment Options". The Terms name CCBill and TrustPay as providers.

The reais amounts are estimates, converted from dollars using the ECB (euro) reference rate of 22 Oct 2026, without IOF or taxes. Premium, $10.00 (≈ R$ 50.49) a month, is the cheapest paid monthly plan in the current price grid. Elite has no published price.

One caveat: the subscription page and checkout only open after login, and we did not create an account. The Basic, Premium and Deluxe prices come from the service's FAQ (in English and Portuguese) and may be out of date. Check the final amount on the payment screen. Taxes may appear at checkout, which has country and postal code fields.

There is a monthly/yearly toggle with a "20% Savings" badge, but yearly prices have not been published. The subscription renews automatically, and the site promises to give notice first if the renewal price goes up.

What you can use for free on GirlfriendGPT

Sign-up is free, through Google, Discord or email with a password. The limit, according to the Terms of Use (section 1): 2 to 3 characters and "10 to 20 messages in total". The interface shows "Free 20 messages", limited images in chat and access to community characters.

After the limit, the chat stops. You can earn credits by doing tasks, but the "How to earn free credits" page is mentioned in the Terms without a link, and its content was not verified. There is also a promotional trial of the Elite model, with 20 messages at no charge and a daily cap on the number of trials.

Whether the free mode requires a card has not been published. The number of welcome coins has not been published either.

Features: chat, memory, voice, images and video

Text chat. Roleplay with female and male characters and a community catalog. You can adjust the length and detail of replies, narrative person and language. Advanced model settings require a subscription.

Memory. It exists, and its size depends on the plan: 8K/16K context, up to 32K on some models. There is long-term memory, where the AI keeps details that you can view, edit, pin and delete. When the limit is reached, older parts of the conversation drop out gradually.

Voice and calls. Voice messages are part of Premium; voice calls with characters, of Deluxe. There is a voice catalog.

Images and video. Images in chat and separate generators, paid in coins; on the Free plan, images are limited. On video, sources disagree: the official blog (16 Mar 2026) says it is only for Deluxe and Elite, while the interface shows video from Premium. How many coins each generation costs has not been published.

Your own character. You can create one with appearance, personality, behavior, voice and language. On Free, 2 to 3 characters; on paid plans, the interface says "Unlimited Character Creations". Group chat: not published.

GirlfriendGPT in Portuguese

The interface has a Portuguese version, marked only as "pt", without saying whether it is Brazilian or European. The site also lists English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Russian, Turkish, Chinese, Japanese and Korean.

For chat, Portuguese is among the available languages, and the character builder lets you choose the language of replies. According to the interface, multilingual chat is a feature of the Elite models. There is no official data on the quality of the Portuguese, and we did not measure it.

GirlfriendGPT privacy and data

According to the Privacy Notice (13 Apr 2026), your conversations count as user content, and the company says it stores them. A moderation filter based on the company's own LLM scans chats, and anything flagged may be reviewed by a person.

• Retention: while the account exists and, as a rule, 6 more years after it is closed. There is no separate period for chat logs.
• Deletion: the interface lets you delete the account (carried out within 30 days, with the option to recover it through Discord) and delete chats, messages, memories, images and videos individually.
• AI training: the policy does not say whether chats train models. There is only a general sentence about using data to develop new tools.
• Third parties: the text mentions Google Analytics; the service also uses PostHog and OneSignal. The AI model providers are not named.
• License: the Terms give the company a broad, open-ended license over "User Submissions". It does not say whether this includes chats.
• Age: the confirmation at sign-up is self-declared. The interface also shows a selfie verification with third-party partners, depending on region, and the list of countries has not been published.

Payment, cancellation and refunds on GirlfriendGPT

According to the Terms (section 27), you can turn off auto-renewal at any time on the subscription management page. The subscription does not renew after the current period ends, and confirmation arrives by email. If you cancel after the new period has started, it may be charged and the cancellation takes effect from the next one.

To cancel through CCBill: log in to the CCBill site, go to the Billing tab, find the subscription, choose Cancel Subscription and confirm. For TrustPay there are no separate steps, and the guidance is to contact support.

Refunds (section 15): paid subscriptions are generally not refunded, except for a company error or a technical problem. Requests are reviewed and refunded within 14 days. With CCBill, it handles the refund under its own rules; with other methods, support decides case by case. The unused part of the period is not returned. If local law is stricter, it prevails.
