Is Secrets AI worth it? The short version

Going by what is published, Secrets AI Non-affiliate link makes sense for someone who wants to chat in English, likes per-character memory and is fine paying in dollars by card or crypto. It also suits anyone who wants to look at the free plan before deciding.

The main point in its favor: there is a free plan that needs no card, and annual Premium works out to $9.17 per month (≈ R$ 46.30), according to the registry table. The main point against: the interface is not available in Portuguese, there is no Pix, and the service says it uses conversations to train models.

It may not fit if you prefer paying with Pix, want an app in the app stores (there is none) or need a Portuguese interface. In that case, see the alternatives below.

The service is run by Secret Labs Inc., based in Dover, Delaware (USA). This site's link to Secrets AI goes straight to the official site, with no affiliate deal. More detail is on the pricing page.

How to pay for Secrets AI from Brazil

The payment form lists Visa, Mastercard and Discover cards. American Express is not accepted. Virtual debit cards also work, according to the registry.

Crypto is also an option, with more than 300 coins through NOWPayments and a minimum of $20. As a last resort, there are prepaid G2A keys for 3 or 12 months, with no automatic renewal, and with price and refunds handled by G2A.

Pix is not mentioned on any page we looked at. The checkout code includes Google Pay and Apple Pay, but this is not confirmed in the public documents or the service's help pages.

Prices are in dollars. Because the purchase is in a foreign currency, your bank may add IOF; the amount is not in the registry. On your statement the charge shows as "S LABS INC", without the Secrets name. Sales tax is added at checkout based on the ZIP code you enter.

The cheapest per month is annual Premium. Among monthly plans, Premium is the entry point. Monthly Ultimate costs $39.99 (≈ R$ 201.91).

Annual Ultimate costs $319.99. Limited-time promotions on annual plans tend to appear, so check the final price at checkout.

The "77%" discount on annual Premium is calculated from a crossed-out reference price, not from the normal monthly price. The 3- and 6-month prices come from a page about migrating old plans, and it is unclear whether new subscribers can buy them. Prices for Brazil and in reais have not been published, and it is not known whether prices vary by country.

What you can use for free on Secrets AI

The free plan gives 20 messages per day, counting only your own. The limit resets 24 hours after your first message, unused messages do not carry over, and the limit is tied to the device; creating another account does not reset it. With custom characters the limit is separate: 100 messages in total.

The free plan also includes all companions, the S3 and X-3 modes, messages of up to 500 characters and basic memory. No card is needed, only an email, Google or Apple. There are no monthly Moments, and you cannot buy Moments on this plan.

There are one-time bonuses of Moments, the in-app currency: 200 for new accounts, 25 for turning on notifications and 100 for linking Discord. A free trial for the paid plans: not published.

Features: chat, memory, voice, images and video

• Text chat: the core feature, with modes S3, S4 (Ultimate only), S5 (Premium and Ultimate) and X-3 (beta). Messages of 500, 1,000 or 2,000 characters depending on the plan.
• Memory: each companion stores facts about you, and you can view, edit and delete them. There is no export; you request it through support.
• Voice: spoken replies cost 10 Moments per 100 characters. There is a library of 148 voices for custom characters.
• Calls: real-time, at 50 Moments per minute.
• Images: cost Moments and, according to the plans page, require Premium or Ultimate. A standard image costs 50 Moments.
• Video: only on Premium and Ultimate, with several models and a cost in Moments.
• Custom character: the first is free, and each later one costs 500 Moments. Characters based on real people are banned.
• Group chat: Ultimate only, with 2 to 3 companions.

The wiki contradicts itself about calls and custom characters: one page mentions a paid subscription, another says they are on all plans. The tone of the conversation is set by the "Spice" level (Mild, Medium or Spicy), and the default has not been published.

Secrets AI in Portuguese

The interface exists in English, Spanish, German, French and Japanese, plus Canadian versions. The /pt/ addresses return a 404 error, so there is no Portuguese interface.

The chat adapts to the user's language, and the site states that "All major languages are supported automatically", with no list. Calls claim to support more than 70 languages, also with no list. That Portuguese actually works has not been officially confirmed, and the quality has not been measured.

Privacy and data on Secrets AI

According to the privacy policy (10 Apr 2026), stored data is encrypted and call audio is deleted right after transcription, leaving only the text. Personal data is not sold.

Some points deserve attention. Among the stated purposes is training and improving AI models, and no opt-out is described. The retention period while the account is active has not been published, nor has the data controller's country.

You can delete the account yourself under Settings > Account safety > Delete account, with no way back. After that, personal data and chat history are removed immediately; transaction records are kept for 7 years and logs without personal data for up to 12 months. The home page promises end-to-end encryption, while the policy describes encryption in transit and on the server.

Billing, cancellation and refunds

The subscription renews automatically, and multi-month plans renew for the same period. Price increases are announced at least 30 days ahead, and a promotional price applies only to the first period.

To cancel, per the wiki: Settings > Manage Subscription, "Cancel Subscription", give a reason and confirm. Access continues until the end of the paid period, and then the account moves to the Free plan. The terms describe another route, through the payment processor or by email, and say the account closes on its own. That discrepancy is not resolved.

Refunds, under the policy updated on 21 Oct 2026: there is no prorated refund for unused days, Moments purchases are final (except wrong charges, reported within 30 days) and crypto payments are not refunded. The 14-day right of withdrawal applies to the EU and UK; no specific conditions are published for Brazil.

Data from 27 Oct 2026. On Trustpilot the rating is 4.5 out of 5, with 286 reviews; 74% give 5 stars and 3% give 1 star. The profile is verified by the company, which replies to 95% of negative reviews, usually within a week.

Praise mentions engaging conversations, a good memory system and character customization. Complaints mention inaccurate images, memory lapses, repetitive replies and characters or images that were removed.

On Reddit, there are discussions about emotional attachment to AI companions and a long write-up from someone who compared several platforms over months. Some of the search results are not about the service at all. This is a summary of themes, not a conclusion by this site.
