Going by the published data, the service is running and has an identified operator in Cyprus, but a few points call for caution: your chats may be used to train models, the basic age check is only a self-declaration, and there are no refunds. Is CrushOn AI legit? A short answer

There is no clean yes or no. The service was online on 22 Oct 2026: the home page, pricing, terms of use and FAQ all opened normally. We found no reports from major outlets about bankruptcy, shutdown or regulator sanctions, but that search has limits and does not cover every outlet.

The operator is TECHIEPIE LTD, a company registered in Cyprus with an address in Nicosia, according to the terms of use dated 22 Sep 2026. The site footer also lists an address in Delaware, USA, and a page dated 8 Feb 2025 names another company, Moonflow corp., for legal requests. How the two are related is not published. The governing law in the terms is that of Hong Kong.

On how users see it: on Trustpilot, checked on 27 Oct 2026, the rating was 1.8 out of 5 from 22 reviews, and the profile was not claimed by the company. Complaint themes are 18+ content only behind a subscription, unanswered support, problems with charges and subscriptions, repetitive replies and doubts about privacy. Reviewers praise the choice of models, character creation and the community. With so few reviews, treat this as a signal, not a verdict.

Privacy: what happens to your chats

The privacy policy is dated 6 Mar 2025. It says chats and characters stay private until you publish them. It also allows chat content to be used to train models, in a "general" way, not tied to specific users. If that bothers you, it is the most important point in this section.

Other points from the policy:

• Data goes to subprocessors, including the operator of the underlying AI model, and to advertising SDKs, but only in the mobile app.
• There is no fixed retention period: data is kept as long as "reasonably necessary" or required by law. The country of the data controller is not published.
• Processing happens in the US and with contractors in other jurisdictions.
• The company says it does not store payment data. The Do Not Track signal is not supported.
• On the Free plan, history disappears after 7 days of inactivity. On paid plans it stays while the subscription is active. Your own voice recordings are deleted after 24 hours.

To delete your account: Profile → Settings → Delete Account. You cannot delete it with an active subscription and, according to the interface, also not with Diamonds or withdrawable funds left. Messages older than 24 hours cannot be deleted, per the wiki FAQ. The FAQ also contradicts itself on recovery: it says first that it is impossible, then that you can come back within 3 days. The name that appears on the statement (the descriptor) is not published. We cannot say whether the charge is discreet, and the service makes no such promise in the materials we checked. Safety, moderation and age verification

CrushOn AI presents itself as an 18+ platform with "no filter" chat. The wiki describes three levels: Filtered (no adult content), Unfiltered (adult themes in text, images without nudity) and Hidden Content (full access). When you turn on 18+ content, an age confirmation window appears. One interface line says chat with NSFW characters requires a subscription, but we do not know whether that still applies.

The basic check is self-declaration: you confirm you are 18 or older. For restricted content there is an extra check with three routes:

• a $0.99 (≈ R$ 5.00) payment by card in your own name, which gives a bonus and 5 days of trial Standard;
• selfie or document through Didit, free, with a promise to delete the images right after the check;
• AgeGo, also free.

In which countries each method is mandatory is not published. The only thing stated is that West Virginia requires an official document.

The rules ban minors and characters not clearly marked as 18+, real people, overly realistic images of people, intimate content without consent, graphic violence and hate. There is a contradiction: the terms forbid uploading NSFW content, which clashes with how the service positions itself. No regulator investigations or fines appear in the registry data as of 22 Oct 2026.

How to cancel CrushOn AI and what about refunds

To cancel on the website, according to the terms:

1. Open Profile.
2. Go to My Subscription.
3. Click Manage.
4. Choose Cancel Subscription.

Cancel before the next billing date, or the following cycle will be charged. Access continues until the end of the paid period. If you subscribed through PayPal, renewal is switched off and the plan stays active until the end of the month. On SubscribeStar the path is My Subscription → Unsubscribe, and the wiki warns there is an option that ends access immediately. If you cannot cancel, write to [email protected] or open a ticket on Discord.

Refunds: there are none. The fee is not returned, except in the cases of the Refund Policy or where the law requires it, and the terms do not limit mandatory consumer rights. There is no prorated refund for cancelling mid-cycle or downgrading. Credits, Diamonds and an activated Chat Package are final. If paid creator content is not delivered, the terms promise to restore access, refund or credit again.

The Deluxe plan appears as "Retired": existing members keep their benefits until the end of the cycle, but renewal may continue if they do not cancel. It is worth checking your account. Scams and fake apps: where the official version is

The official domain is crushon.ai. You can use it in the browser and add it to your home screen as a PWA. The App Store and Google Play pages returned a 404 error on 22 Oct 2026, and a search for "crushon" in the Brazilian App Store found no official app. The store links are no longer available.

On Android, the site and the wiki offer an APK, and the interface says it is signed by CrushOn and that, in Brazil and the EU, the app is installed directly from the company. On iPhone, the option is AltStore or the site shortcut. The reason the apps disappeared from the stores has not been published.

How to protect yourself:

• download the APK only through links inside crushon.ai, never from third-party sites;
• be wary of modified versions, paid access offered for free and miracle codes: they are not part of the service;
• check the address before typing your login or card;
• G2A codes only work in Settings → Gift Redemption.
