Is DreamGF safe? A Romanian operator, but no refunds beyond the law

Is DreamGF safe? Based on published information, the service has an identified operator and appears to be operating, but it leaves gaps: it does not state how long it keeps data, does not say whether chats are used to train models, and offers no refunds beyond what the law requires. This text follows the site's public information, checked on 22 Oct 2026, and supplements our DreamGF review.

Is DreamGF safe and legit? The short answer

The service is run by DreamAI SRL, a Romanian company based in Bucharest and registered in the Trade Registry under number J40/12952/2023. The Terms and Privacy Policy cite Romanian law, and the site was online on the check date, with plans and a payment form working. We found no official report of a closure, bankruptcy or change of owner.

That partly answers whether DreamGF is legitimate: there is a company behind it, with an address and a contact email. What counts against it is the lack of clarity on several points, outlined below.

On user opinion: on Trustpilot (checked 27 Oct 2026) the rating was 2.6 out of 5 from only 4 reviews, and the profile is not claimed by the company. That is too small a sample to conclude anything. The complaints covered an outdated product, unreliable calls, simple chat and an expensive subscription. The praise was for appearance customization. On Reddit there are threads asking whether it is a scam, and posts from people who cancelled early.

Privacy: what DreamGF says about your data

The data controller is DreamAI SRL, and the policy cites the EU GDPR. GDPR compliance is a legal requirement, not a differentiator. What matters is what is written:

• Data collected: account, chats, voice messages, generated content and behavior on the site. Anyone who provides data about sex life or orientation does so by consent.
• Card: the data stays with the payment processors, not the company.
• Reading chats: the company says it can view your conversation with the AI only if you report a problem to support.
• Hosting: DigitalOcean, with processing inside the European Economic Area and "appropriate safeguards" for any transfer outside it.
• Retention: the policy gives no time limits. An older page lists periods by plan (from 1 week on the free tier to indefinite at the top), but does not say how that applies to current plans.
• Training on chats: not stated.
• Content you upload: the Terms give the company a perpetual, irrevocable license to what you upload.

To delete data, the Membership Policy says you can delete your account at any time and the data is removed permanently. "Delete Account" and "Delete chat history" buttons exist in the interface, but the help center has no tutorial. What shows up on your card statement

The site promises there will be no "adult transaction" on your statement: the phrase appears on the plans and pricing pages. The exact name shown on the charge is not published, so we cannot say how the line will look on your bank statement.

On payment, the plans page showed only a credit or debit card button, with Visa and Mastercard logos. Pix and PayPal are not mentioned. Crypto payment did not appear on the plans page, so it is not confirmed as offered. A 2024 note says American Express and Discover were not accepted; the current status is not published.

Prices are in US dollars. The reais amounts on this page are the site's estimates (dollars × the ECB reference rate of 22 Oct 2026, without taxes), and your bank may add IOF on a purchase in foreign currency. How much IOF depends on your card.

Moderation, rules and age verification

The service is for adults only (18+). There is an 18+ notice on every page, and age confirmation is self-declared: a notice at entry and a checkbox at sign-up. For most countries there is no document or selfie check. In the United Kingdom, access is closed until an age verification process exists, and no provider is named.

The Content and Monitoring Policy describes real-time automatic monitoring, human review of flagged content and banned-word lists, with a warning or immediate account suspension. Characters go public only after manual approval. Banned are anything involving minors or resembling them, illegal content, impersonating real people and celebrities, privacy violations, hate, violence, self-harm and spam. Complaints go through a dedicated form, with a 7-business-day response time and the possibility of appeal.

On investigations and lawsuits: we found none in official sources or major press for 2025 and 2026 as of 22 Oct 2026. A 2023 Sifted article exists, but it was inaccessible and not verified. The official roadmap entry of 26 Jan 2024 says direct card payment was turned on after many complaints about Patreon.

Payment, how to cancel DreamGF, and refunds

Amounts converted at the ECB reference rate of 22 Oct 2026; the amount charged may differ. The service does not say whether VAT is included; renews automatically. Checked on 22 Oct 2026.

Renewal comes at the plan's full price: the voucher discount applies only to the first period. The subscription renews automatically, and checkout includes a box accepting recurring charges. How to cancel DreamGF. There is no tutorial in the help center. It does not describe the steps; the path in the menu, not confirmed on a live account, has 5 steps:

1. Open My Profile and go to the subscription block.
2. Click "Cancel subscription".
3. Choose a reason.
4. Decline the retention offer with "No, I want to cancel".
5. Confirm with "Finalize cancelation".

Access continues until the end of the paid period, with no further charges. Watch out for the retention offer (+100 tokens): if you accept it, you cannot cancel for 30 days, according to the Membership Policy. Stripe payers are told to check their Stripe account or contact support; RocketGate subscribers write to [email protected].

Refunds. There are none, except where consumer protection law requires. If you used characters, photos, messages or credits during the period, nothing is returned. The Terms speak of refunds at the company's discretion after contacting support. Disputing the charge with your bank without grounds can lead to fees and an account block. There is also a "maintenance charge" of $1.99 per month for people who have paid before, which the policy says can be introduced "at any time" and can only be avoided by deleting the account.

Scams and fake apps: where the official DreamGF lives

The official service runs in the browser, on the domain dreamgf.ai. There is no official native app: the site does not point to the App Store or Google Play, and voice calls also run in the browser.

The App Store has "DreamGF - My AI Friend", but the developer is someone else (Van Hong Nguyen / ZeeZoo Apps), with no mention of dreamgf.ai or DreamAI SRL. It is a third-party app with a similar name. We found no DreamAI SRL listing on Google Play.

To avoid a clone:

• type the official address or enter through a link you trust;
• do not install an APK from random sites;
• check the contact email: the official one is [email protected], but the pricing page showed [email protected], which looks like a template error;
• be wary of any charge outside the card checkout.
